What you'll do:

Celebrate the Summer Solstice with an immersive workshop at Lauriston Castle, harmoniously blending revitalising Forest Bathing with creative aromatherapy. This special activity invites you to connect with the abundant energy of summer, nourish your senses, and restore your spirit through tranquil time in nature and scent creation.

The day includes two main experiences:

Forest Bathing – Embracing Solstice Energy:
Led by Rosie (a gentle forest bathing guide & psychotherapist), you'll begin with a two-hour session outdoors amidst the lush summer landscape of Lauriston Castle.

You'll be guided through mindful nature connection invitations, encouraging you to slow down and absorb the vitality of nature during this peak season of light and growth.

The experience culminates in an outdoor tea ceremony for reflection and connection. (Please come prepared for all weather conditions for this outdoor part).

Aromatherapy – Craft Your Own Summer Essence:
After the forest session and a light lunch provided indoors, you'll join the nurturing Gill for a creative and soothing aromatherapy workshop.

Here, you will learn about the therapeutic properties of essential oils – the captured essence of plants and trees.

You’ll learn how to create your own bespoke 10ml therapeutic perfume, infused with the fresh, uplifting scents of summer, connecting the experience of nature seamlessly into your aromatic creation.

This unique workshop brings together two potent practices designed to rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit within the vibrant energy of the Summer Solstice. Whether you're drawn to nature’s healing touch, seeking a moment of creativity, or simply wishing to connect with the solstice energy, you'll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, inspired, and restored, taking home your personally crafted summer essence.
