About Cheese & Wine Tasting with Mellis Cheese

Cheese & Wine Tasting with Mellis Cheese at 1802 Lounge & Grill

Join us for a unique and indulgent evening as 1802 Lounge & Grill teams up with the renowned cheesemongers at Mellis for an exclusive Cheese & Wine Tasting. Taking place at our venue, this special event starting at 6:30pm offers the perfect chance for cheese and wine enthusiasts to learn from the very best in the business.

Established over 30 years ago, Mellis is Scotland’s leading artisanal cheesemonger, dedicated to promoting the rich flavours of farmhouse cheese. By working with single-herd producers and staying true to traditional methods, Mellis has expanded across Scotland, supplying top restaurants and delis. Their knowledgeable team is passionate about sharing their expertise, making every tasting an educational yet relaxed experience.

Hosted by Mellis themselves, the event will feature 6 carefully selected cheeses, each perfectly paired with 3 exquisite wines. Their passionate host will guide you through the informal, informative tasting, helping you discover new flavours and combinations.

Plus, if you find a favourite during the tasting, you'll have the opportunity to purchase the featured cheeses to enjoy at home.

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions in your booking notes.

Come along, unwind, and treat yourself to a delightful evening of gourmet indulgence at 1802 Lounge & Grill with Mellis.

For guests who would like to dine at 1802 Lounge & Grill either before or after the event, you will receive 20% off your bill with proof of ticket purchase.
